Who we are

This website is operated by Twenty20 Scaffolding ("we", "us", "our"), a scaffolding business based in South West Wales. We are the data controller for any personal information you give us through this website.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your information, contact us by email at twenty20scaffold@gmail.com or by phone on 07801 950913.

What information we collect

When you use our quote form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, the location of your site and any details you include about your project.

If you contact us directly by phone, email or Facebook, we keep the details you share so we can deal with your enquiry.

We also collect anonymous information about how visitors use the website through Google Analytics (see "Cookies" below).

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
  • arrange site visits and carry out the work you've asked us to do
  • keep records of jobs for invoicing, health and safety and insurance purposes

Our lawful basis is that the information is needed to respond to your request and, where you go ahead with a job, to perform our contract with you. We may also keep some records where we have a legal obligation to do so (for example tax and health and safety records).

We will never sell your information or add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

We don't share your information with anyone else except where needed to provide our service, for example:

  • our website and email hosting providers, who store data on our behalf
  • Google, who provide the reCAPTCHA spam protection on our forms and Google Analytics
  • our accountant, insurers or professional advisers where required
  • where we are required to by law

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that don't lead to a job are kept for up to 12 months. Where we carry out work for you, we keep the records for up to 6 years for accounting, legal and insurance purposes, after which they are securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong
  • ask us to delete your information, where we don't need to keep it
  • object to or ask us to restrict how we use it

To make a request, email twenty20scaffold@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Cookies are small files saved to your device when you visit a website. We use:

  • Essential cookies: needed for the website and quote form to work securely, including spam protection.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed most. This information is anonymous and doesn't identify you.

When you first visit the site you can choose to accept or decline analytics cookies. You can also delete cookies or block them through your browser settings at any time.

Third party websites

Our website contains links to and embedded content from other websites, such as Facebook and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
